The more things change, the more they stay the same! Some things never change, it is said. This is hardly true. We at Paarlberg BMW are celebrating our 48th birthday, and a lot has changed in the past 48 years. From humble beginnings in 1965, our business has grown and flourished, with a reputation for being both traditional and progressive. Traditional in that we foster old-fashioned values in personalised customer service. Progressive in that we are able to adapt to our customers' changing needs, and take up the challenges of the new millennium. Over the years, the economy, as well as the motor industry, has undergone major changes. The modernisation of the dealership as we know it today, the technological advances in sales and after sales, the computerisation of nearly all dealership processes, the improved turnaround time to perform each function, and the advent of e-commerce. And Paarlberg BMW has been at the forefront of all these changes, with only one goal in mind - to offer you, our customer, the very best service. Paarlberg BMW is conveniently located in the scenic, oak-lined Main Street, Paarl, being the main entrance and exit to the town of Paarl, and is recognised as a landmark, alongside those of KWV`s "La Concorde", the "Strooidak Kerk", the "Toring Kerk" and the Grande Roche Hotel. Our premises are modern, having undergone an extensive upgrade in 1995. Centrally situated, its practical location offers easy access and parking, to customers and visitors alike, from neighbouring towns. The personality at the forefront of Paarlberg BMW`s success, is Karl Dahl, Managing Director of the Paarlberg Group. Karl Dahl joined Paarlberg BMW in 1988, as dealer principal, managing director and shareholder, from BMW South Africa, where he held positions of National Parts, and National Vehicles Distribution manager. Together with a strong management team, he built the Paarlberg Group. He has served as Chairman of the BMW Dealer Council, and has strong marketing and management skills. Alongside our frontline personalities, we have a competent sales team, experienced in all aspects of marketing and sales. Our sales force is supported by an admin office, parts department and service centre. With a low staff turnover, and taking into account the pride with which each person in our organisation performs their duties, we believe that we have the recipe for success. Customer loyalty and retention are the key focus areas in all of our departments. This is attained through exceptional customer care and exceeding all expectations, regular contact and the philosophy that the real dealer / customer relationship starts, and not ends, on the delivery of the vehicle. This has enabled us to expand, culminating in the Paarlberg Group, which currently consists of Paarlberg BMW, Worcester BMW.
